“Double Your Dating” Reviewed

Double Your Dating is an awesome compilation of data for men.

This is the largest compilation of data to help men ever assembled in one place. Besides the original product David DeAngelo now has scores of other products to help men overcome their fears and “wussiness” with women.

I personally bought his original product and his Dating Guru Interview series on CDs that come out monthly. There is a lot of value in David’s products. I think it is a perfect complement to my # 1 Pick – Dating To Relating, and I would recommend to anyone who has the extra money to get this product in addition to Dating To Relating.

The reason being that Dating To Relating teaches you how to develop your own techniques and Double Your Dating gives you a lot of data to help stir your creative juices to help you develop those unique techniques. David has a free daily newsletter that is absolutely great.

The downside is he hasn’t quite put it all together as well as Mr. L. Rx. and although there is a lot of truth in his volumes of data, he ultimately focuses on a strategy and doesn’t quite get the situational approach of Mr. L. Rx. So, David’s approach will work for some guys, but it isn’t a system that will work for ALL guys – Mr. L. Rx’s system is a system that will work for ALL guys and ALL types of girls.

For example, David’s approach didn’t quite work on the “girl next door” types that I like. I tried it and it DID work on some snobby, bitchy girls in clubs, but ultimately I didn’t like these type of girls and I didn’t like being “cocky and funny.”

Also Mr. L. Rx’s data works for guys who want to be PUAs as well as guys who just want to meet a girl and settle down. My friend who is an expert PUA and has had sex with 1000s of women absolutely loved Mr. L. Rx’s stuff and got a lot of value out as it as well as my other friend who hadn’t had a date in about 15 years.  The first night after reading the book he went out and met three women in a club with astonishing ease.

Still, I would say Double Your Dating is a MUST HAVE for any guy seriously trying to learn about women and dating. His “cocky and funny” technique may not work as well as Mr. L. Rx’s approach, but he gives you a lot of other data about such things as posture, attitude, attraction, how to dress, sexual communication, and various other observations that is invaluable. His interviews with Dating Gurus is also an invaluable source of data.

DoubleYourDating and DatingToRelating are the top two rated “Dating Advice for Men” websites (by traffic – see alexa.com rankings) and I think there is good reason for it. I stress again that getting both of these products is a smart idea. They complement each other and after you get these two products you won’t really need any other.

David Deangelo Reviewed

David Deangelo has put together an awesome compilation of data for men.

“The Mystery Method” (now called Love Systems) Reviewed

Mystery is a pretty famous guy and now has his own TV show, but taken on its own, I would not recommend it for the average guy. The techniques that are given here, definitely work, but they only work on a narrow band of what I would label shallow women. Now in conjunction with my top two rated products – “Dating To Relating” and “Double Your Dating”  Mystery’s “The Mystery Method” can have decent value.

When you use the techniques on their own (without the more sophisticated understanding of women put forth in “Dating To Relating” and “Double Your Dating”), you yourself become rather shallow. And a lot of guys won’t be able to (or won’t want to) use the techniques for that reason.

Now, there is not anything at all wrong with being shallow, as sometimes you just want to get laid. But sometimes you want more than that. You are NOT going to get the MORE part from these techniques (unless you just derive it on your own from the sheer volume of experience.)

Mr. L. Rx in Dating To Relating, apparently evolved almost the exact same techniques as Mystery on his own and gives them to you in “Dating To Relating” ( And since he is older than Mystery he was probably the first one using these techniques.)

But Mr. L. Rx. also tells you many more techniques. Mr. L. Rx shows you how to pick up the other 80% of women in clubs and the other 90% of women in life that these techniques won’t work on.

He tells you how to get a “real” relationship and how to pick up “real” (non-shallow) women.

Mystery techniques are very powerful and work, but the end product is you might not like the kind of girls you get as a result of this, and you might not like who you are being as you do this.

There are even gurus on the internet who took Mystery’s training and were successful at it, but gave it up and don’t practice it anymore. In one of David DeAngelo’s Interviews, he interviews David M. who had become an Internet Dating Guru and quite frankly states he did not enjoy doing the Mystery Method even though he graduated and was successful at it.

So if you can more or less learn the exact same techniques plus a lot more from Mr. L. Rx, why then am I also recommending Mystery?

The value of his materials is similar to what I said about Double Your Dating. Mystery goes into more details about the method than Mr. L. Rx does. So, if you are really interested in being a “player” as your life’s ambition, there is value in getting this information in conjunction with Mr. L. Rx’s data.

Mr. L. Rx actually gives you more techniques to be a player with, but Mystery gives you more in-depth information on this one strategy with this one “type” of woman than Mr. L. Rx does. Mr. L. Rx gives you more tools to create “pick up” strategies with, but Mystery gives you a lot more information that you can create with once you get and understand Mr. L. Rx’s tools.

So, if you are the kind of guy like me who is very interested in being very skilled at this “meeting women” stuff, then I would say these materials are also a MUST for your library in addition to “Dating To Relating” and “Double Your Dating.”

However, I would caution you. These materials aren’t going to work for a lot of guys. These materials aren’t going to create satisfying relationships for a lot of guys (even if they do get you laid). And these material aren’t necessarily going to make you feel good about yourself (unless you have perhaps very low self esteem.)

Taken on their own, they are moderately effective as they do work, but only on a certain kind of shallow insecure woman. They are moderately easy to implement (unless you have moral issues with “bullshitting”), but they are not geared for internet dating and are not going to teach you how to really relate to a woman and keep her as a girlfriend. (Unless she is totally superficial and remains so the rest of her life.)

So final evaluation, if you are rich and/or obsessive like me, get these materials in addition to Dating To Relating” and “Double Your Dating” but don’t bother getting them as your main training system. They probably won’t work for most guys.

“The Game” (Style Life) Reviewed

Neil Strauss is billed as the best pick up artist in the world.  I found his materials interesting and very similar to Mystery’s materials. (He was a student of Mystery) However, again it falls short of a fuller understanding of women that both Mr. L. Rx and Deangelo have.

However, I think his techniques are very good for a certain type of women which you mainly find in bars and clubs. Both Neil and Mystery are more for guys who are interested in being Pick Up Artists.

I think that Neil’s writings in conjunction with “Dating To Relating” and “Double Your Dating” can have decent value.

So why then am I also recommending Mystery/Neil Strauss?

The value of Neil Strauss’s book “The Game” is that it gives you a very interesting sort of historical application of the techniques to think with. Again, this can be very useful.

Neil has also evolved Mystery’s techniques on his own and will give you a slightly different but similar perspective on things and has his own website and workshops in addition to his book “The Game.”

So, if you are the kind of guy like me who is very interested in being very skilled at this “meeting women” stuff, then I would say these materials (The Mystery Method and “The Game”) are also a MUST for your library in addition to “Dating To Relating” and “Double Your Dating.”

Both Neil and Mystery are more for guys who are interested in being Pick Up Artists. However, Mr. L. Rx gives more and broader methods to pick up women, and he has two new writers on his site – Mr. P. L. Ayer, who is a PUA and has reportedly had sex with over 2000 women before he was 30 and never got caught playing or cheating on women- and Mr. B. A PUA who has reportedly had sex with over 3000 women and is a “text” “IM” and “chat” specialist.  I don’t know if any of the so called Pick Up Artists like Neil can boast of statistics like that. Style Life Academy, however, is kind of a cool program. You might want to check that out, but again I would recommend supplementing the Style Life training with Mr. L. Rx and Deangelo’s basic books.

So final evaluation, if you are rich and/or obsessive like me, get Neil’s materials in addition to Dating To Relating” and “Double Your Dating” and “The Mystery Method” but don’t bother getting them as your main training system. They probably won’t work for most guys.

“Guy Gets Girl” Reviewed

Guy Gets Girl is written by a woman, Tiffany Taylor. There is definitely some good general advice in this book, but it is not a stand alone book. If you use it in companionship with Dating To Relating and/or Double Your Dating it can broaden your perspective, help you understand some women better, and give you some ideas to improve your game.

The problems with this book or books, as she sells you a package of books and access to a website with lots of information on it, is that she like most of the other Guru’s doesn’t take a situational approach but writes from the viewpoint that all women think like her and all women are the same.

However, there is a lot of common ideas that women have about dating and it is good to read Tiffany’s materials because it will help educate you on understanding some women.

All in all, Mr. L. Rx , with his situational approach and helping me realize that every women is a unique individual and different, did a better job of helping me understand how to score with women than Tiffany did. But again I include her materials here because if you read them in conjunction with Mr. L. Rx’s materials and David DeAngelo’s materials, Tiffany’s materials can be quite helpful.

But again, I stress that her materials are NOT stand alone. If you are looking for ONE system or book to buy, this is not it – Get Mr. L. Rx’s materials.

Guy Gets Girl’s materials are rather general and obviously written to make money, more than to help. Her main book is only 63 pages double spaced with margins 1 and 3/4 inches wide on both side. (Mr. L. Rx’s book by comparison is 196 pages single spaced with 1 inch margins.)

She brings in a guy, Woody Wilcox to help write some of her materials (the second book which tries to give viewpoints of other women – not just Tiffany- and a whole website on what is supposedly advice on how to make love to a woman.) However the whole thing is rather transparent and was obviously written quickly to make money.

Her package is more expensive than Mr. L. Rx’s and she and her co-author, Woody Wilcox, just don’t deliver much. (Mr. L. Rx’s web site had a lot more information and his “Love Package” really gets down into specific sexual technique for example.)

I just get the impression from Tiffany and Woody that they were just trying to figure out how to take up space on a page, so they could say they actually wrote a book. Most of the time they do that by double spacing lines, making 1 and 3/4 inch margins on both sides of the page, and talking in very general terms. So I guess I am saying overall their materials lack real substance.

But be that as it may, I still see some value in Tiffany’s materials (but only in conjunction with the other recommended materials above) as she does give guys (especially guys who have no clue about girls) some good insights that will improve your game.

“Speed Seduction” Reviewed

Ross Jeffries’ materials are definitely NOT a stand alone recommendation. However, if used in addition to Mr. L. Rx and/or David Deangelo’s materials it delves into some areas and gives you some ideas that can be used in conjunction with their better approach and techniques.

Jeffries book “How To Get The Women You Desire into Bed” can be said to be outdated, timeless, trashy, and inspiring all at the same time.

Again, like most of the other Gurus, his techniques are NOT situational. They don’t and won’t work on all types of women. And they won’t work for ALL guys who read his book or visit his web site.

They will and do work on a certain kind of women. (I think they may work best on women who are “gamers” and try to manipulate men.) But again this is not the kind of woman I am really interested in.

And the book and some of his website materials may be good for “nice guys” who need to raise their confidence level and learn how NOT to let women walk all over them. His materials focus on self respect quite a bit.

His website is more up to date than his book. Like David DeAngelo he has extensive information on his website which is valuable in itself. But like David he just hasn’t put the understanding of women and relationships together as well as Mr. L. Rx.

I like his information on how to get a women’s attention and how to appeal to women and his data on “mirroring.” The “mirroring” data is the main reason I include Jeffries as a recommendation as I find it fits nicely into working with Mr. L. Rx’s situational approach above.

His NLP and Hypno-seduction techniques I find a bit controversial and some may wonder about the ethics of it all. Personally, ethics aside, I didn’t like the type of women that this stuff works on. Like David DeAngelo’s “cocky and funny” his NLP and Hypno-seduction techniques may work on a certain kind of woman, but chances are you won’t like the kind of women it works on. It might get you laid, but it won’t get you a relationship.

Though Jeffries has been training men longer than any other Guru out there, His understanding of ALL women isn’t there. Ross Jeffries Reviewed

Ross Jeffries’ materials are definitely NOT a stand alone recommendation. However, if used in addition to Mr. L. Rx and/or David Deangelo’s materials it delves into some areas and gives you some ideas that can be used in conjunction with their better approach and techniques.

Jeffries book “How To Get The Women You Desire into Bed” can be said to be outdated, timeless, trashy, and inspiring all at the same time.

Again, like most of the other Gurus, his techniques are NOT situational. They don’t and won’t work on all types of women. And they won’t work for ALL guys who read his book or visit his web site.

They will and do work on a certain kind of women. (I think they may work best on women who are “gamers” and try to manipulate men.) But again this is not the kind of woman I am really interested in.

And the book and some of his website materials may be good for “nice guys” who need to raise their confidence level and learn how NOT to let women walk all over them. His materials focus on self respect quite a bit.

His website is more up to date than his book. Like David DeAngelo he has extensive information on his website which is valuable in itself. But like David he just hasn’t put the understanding of women and relationships together as well as Mr. L. Rx.

I like his information on how to get a women’s attention and how to appeal to women and his data on “mirroring.” The “mirroring” data is the main reason I include Jeffries as a recommendation as I find it fits nicely into working with Mr. L. Rx’s situational approach above.

His NLP and Hypno-seduction techniques I find a bit controversial and some may wonder about the ethics of it all. Personally, ethics aside, I didn’t like the type of women that this stuff works on. Like David DeAngelo’s “cocky and funny” his NLP and Hypno-seduction techniques may work on a certain kind of woman, but chances are you won’t like the kind of women it works on. It might get you laid, but it won’t get you a relationship.
